Tim Burningham
Tim was born in Scotland and completed his early education at Bradfield College in the UK. He started his career in his family’s oil business training in London and Belgium before venturing across the Atlantic to start his marketing career and find his American wife Claudia. Tim has an MBA degree in Marketing and International Business from New York University and a BBA degree from Georgia State University. He worked for Rank Xerox in London and then moved to Rochester NY with Xerox Corporation.
In the early 1980s, he moved to Atlanta with Contel Cellular as Market Planning Manager setting up new cellular franchises across the county. He was then hired as Director of Marketing for Oki telecom and helped Oki become an industry leader in cellular handset sales to the Bell Operating Companies.

From 1995 to 1999 as Director of Marketing for Nextel, Tim was part of the management team establishing Nextel as a major wireless carrier and designing an effective market entry strategy for Nextel throughout the Southeast.
In 2001 Tim started a retail wireless business representing MetroPCS in Atlanta. He has consulted and partnered with several leading MetroPCS dealers and eventually moved to Jacksonville to open two new retail locations in Orange Park in 2008.
Tim now works as an insurance agent for Reserve National. He was a member of Lloyds of London – a touchy subject. He and Claudia have now settled in Fernandina Beach. They have three adult daughters and four grandchildren. Tim is an “island” person. He looks forward to spending more time getting involved in the community, sailing and playing his banjo.

Helmut Albrecht
Helmut is the Sales and Customer Service Manager for Science First/STARLAB, a family owned company in Yulee, FL, that designs, manufactures and markets science education products (www.sciencfirst.com). He is an experienced sales and marketing executive and change agent with extensive business development capabilities, acquired through his career in Europe and North America.
Executive roles with global technology leaders such as Xerox, Eastman Kodak and Heidelberger Druckmaschinen in Germany, Canada and the United States have provided him with a full understanding of the international business culture and command of the English and German languages.
Helmut earned a degree as Diplom Ingenieur (FH) from the Armed Forces University in Munich. Prior to his corporate working career, he developed early leadership skills as an Air Force officer. Helmut draws his creative balance from working as freelance fine art photographer and appreciates the beauty of nature and technology in his images as shown in a recent portfolio.

Helmut Albrecht
Phil Griffin
Phil owns and operates the only locally based commercial real estate company on Amelia Island. Since 2003
he has worked with hundreds of clients to facilitate their business and investment real estate needs.
Projects range from leasing space as a tenant broker to full scale development work, both residential and
commercial. Owning and operating small businesses gives Phil the insight and experience to assist small
business owners with every step of ownership from inception to expansion. Services include tenant and
buyer representation, asset management, seller representation, writing business plans, acquiring financing,
assisting with zoning and planning issues and government permitting.
He has a
BS in Business Economics - Utica College of Syracuse University 1980. Phil is affiliated with the
Amelia Island Chamber of Commerce, European American Business Club, National Association of Realtors, AINCAR
When not working Phil can be found traveling the USA and Canada in the motor home with wife Janet and
their 2 dachshunds. Although they enjoy visiting other small towns, they have yet to find a place like Amelia
Island that offers climate, character and charm at an affordable price. Prior to moving to Fernandina Beach
in 2001, Phil owned and operated a successful restaurant and 3 other businesses in Girdwood, Alaska.

Phil Griffin
Caroline Blöchlinger
Born and raised in Switzerland, Caroline found her way to Amelia Island via a 25 year stop-over in Miami, Florida. In Miami she was teaching German at the College level and also worked for a brief time for Lufthansa before she went on to help found a Direct Marketing Dental Supply Company. As the president of this company she wore many heads and found her passion in advertising.
In Fernandina she founded CB Advertising Services, Inc. a marketing company helping small and medium sized business with their marketing or as she puts it "My business is to make your business look great". Her company can help develop the entire marketing presentation from logo, to direct marketing, to the customized website and also photograpy. In 2003, Caroline opened a sister company, Studio CB Photography that specializes in portraiture, event, commercial & pet photography and followed her other passion, photography.
When she is not working Caroline likes to read, travel and attend conventions. She also enjoys looking for new adventures to continue "Shukie's Adventure Blog".
She is available for advertising strategy planning and coaching, be it on a one to one basis or for a group.
